On Tuesday 28^th May 47 Junior School pupils and four members of staff enjoyed a wonderful time on the Manchester trip. Relaxed visits to Anfield and Old Trafford were in contrast to the adrenaline-fuelled experiences at Alton Towers.

Retail therapy was provided by the expansive Trafford Centre and sub-zero temperatures at the Chill Factore offered exhilarating opportunities in tobogganing, doughnut and luge rides. Competition in the form of bowling was provided by Atlantic Bowl where the bumpers were particularly popular!

The final day started with an informative visit to the Imperial War Museum North before a visit to Gretna and a return to the boat for home.

A great time had been had by all!
