The French Department recently celebrated the European Day of Languages on Thursday 26^th September by enjoying a ‘show and tell theme’. Pupils and staff were encouraged to bring in a small souvenir from another country to talk about.  It was an important day to recognise how important and fun learning a language can be as well as acknowledge the many languages spoken amongst our pupils here in the college.

Nendrum 3 Rockport 1

Nendrum progressed into the next round of the Under 16 Northern Ireland Cup with a hard fought victory against Rockport.

James Tipton put Nendrum into the lead with a calm finish, only for Rockport to equalise shortly after.

A number of missed chances resulted in the game going to extra time. Daniel Kinnier came off the bench to score a brilliant header, much to the delight of the students in support.

James Tipton added a third late on to make sure of the victory.

Well done to all boys, Alex Adams was awarded Man of the Match
