Past pupil Jenna Hamilton aged 17 has danced competitively with Elite Dance Studios for 10 years. 7 years ago she started helping with the younger classes, and now helps 5 days a week with numerous classes. On 5th October 2024 at the Culloden Hotel, all her hard work and dedication paid of, nominated by a parent at the dance school, she was chosen by a panel of judges as the winner of Dance Assistant of the year at the 1st ever Dance Awards in Northern Ireland.

On Friday 11th October Hope Kerr competed in the WLDF World Lyrical Dance Federation and won the senior lyrical dancer of the year (DOTY) 2024.
This programme encourages students to meet and work with others in their year group and find out about their school and their responsibilities within it. Students then use everything that they have learnt to complete a fun Business Challenge.
Students develop their employability skills through learning how to find and apply for a job.
The programme included 5 modules:
-Career Assessment
-Guidance how to complete a CV and application form
-Interview skills
-Presentation skills
-Reflection to improve their application process

The Geography Society competed in a scarecrow making competition held at Montalto Estate.
Congratulations to Susan on achieving Year 11 POTM.
Year 11 and 12 Business Studies pupils visited the Tayto factory in Tandragee to view the production processes of one of Northern Ireland’s most famous brands.
The year 12 MVRUS class carried out their live traffic survey to see if vehicles are ‘Abiding by designated speed limits on urban or rural roads’. They were highly visible wearing hi vis vests. They gathered a lot of information and are now processing the results.
