SENIOR GIRLS THROUGH TO QUARTER FINALS OF IRISH FA CUP Nendrum College played Lisnagarvey High School in the Preliminary Round of the Vauxhall Senior Cup at the Hanwood Centre, Dundonald. From the whistle, Nendrum College pushed Lisnagarvey High School to their limits but Lisnagarvey defended steadily from the back; However Nendrum College striker Abbie Magee opened the scoring by striking the ball from the 18 yard line past the keeper. Magee showed her skill once again scoring a hat trick before half time. Nendrum College kept the pressure up mounting another attack to score a 4th by Lauren Robinson and a 5th by Kelsie Burrows. In the second half Lisnagarvey regained their composure and fought hard to defend Nendrum� s attacks, however the girls from Nendrum dominated the match and wore Lisnagarvey down with goal once again by Abbie Magee and two more from Nendrum� s Shannon McCullogh winning the match 8-0 in the end. Jackie Blyth, the Irish FA Football Assistant chose Nendrum College�s Caprice Miskimmon, who is also part of the Northern Ireland Development squad, as the Player of the Match. Caprice was a great play maker and also worked very hard for her team.
