Matthew Foster witnessed at first hand today the experience of playing under pressure in his golf match against St. Patrick's Grammar, Downpatrick. He saw his lead quickly whittled away from being 4 up to 1 up with two holes remaining. Thankfully he managed to regain his composure and confidence and by winning the 17th hole secured his match 2/1. This victory cemented an excellent 3.5/2.5 victory for the College.
Full credit to the highly talented St. Patrick's Grammar team who in overcoming big handicap hurdles put up an epic challenge through their endeavour and sportsmanship. Many a juvenile club team would envy their handicaps of 5, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 17.
Well done to all pupils!
