On Friday 20th April 2018 the weather was unseasonally dry and idea for golf. Although the team suffered a close 3-2 defeat at the hands of De La Salle there were numerous highlights to be drawn out.
Aaron Blair continued his distinguished run of outstanding wins by a fine 4 and 2 margin. The team was backed by a first win by Cole Bradford with a 3 and 2 win. Cole played a very composed and steady pattern of play and his recent lessons have certainly paid dividends. Comiserations to Ben Chambers who was defeated by a very consistent opponent even though he played some excellent golf. In the anchor match, debutant Dylan Cleland was narrowly defeated 2 and 1 but thoroughly enjoyed the experience in representing the College. No doubt he will return much the wiser for his next match.
A special mention to the other debutant Daniel Parker who played some super golf but his opponent just outplayed him on the putting green. He also will have learned a lot from his match.
