Wednesday 30th June is the last day of summer term, and as is traditional in Nendrum College, this is a non-uniform day when we raise funds for one of the College charities.
This year, two of our pupils - Daniel in Year 8 and Leah in Year 10 - have set up fundraising pages to support Little Princess Trust and Air Ambulance by chopping off the hair that has grown throughout lockdown!
Leah faced the chop mid-June, and Daniel is waiting until his birthday over the summer before he gets a new style! Their hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, and any funds raised will be donated to Air Ambulance NI and Little Princess Trust.
Money raised on our non-uniform day will be split between these two fundraisers to support the kindness and thoughtfulness they are showing to others. To quote Daniel's mum, 'with everything that is going on in the world, it's always nice to be kind!'
I'm sure you will all agree that Leah and Daniel are demonstrating this wonderful quality.

Many of our pupils throughout the year have taken part in charity fundraisers, and we are proud of all of their charitable efforts and wish to thank them for spreading positivity in the community.
We wish the whole school community a safe and happy summer.
