CCEA's dedicated Summer 2022 web area contains a wealth of information for students, parents and teachers about awarding and assessment arrangements for this summer.  As well as a bank of FAQs, news updates and a health and wellbeing section, there are also several useful videos and guides, designed to answer questions surrounding arrangements.



Our recently published 'Student Guide to Assessment Arrangements, Optional Omissions and Contingencies for Summer 2022' provides an overview of arrangements for Summer 22 examinations and information on:

  • Contingency measures


‘A Student Guide to 2021/22 Assessment Arrangements’, covers a wealth of key facts for students, taking them through topics such as:

Our 'Preparing for Exams - a 'how to' guide for students', has been developed to support students (and their parents) with helpful revision tips, advice on mental health and wellbeing techniques, and information on exam guidelines.


 A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section on 'Compliance and Malpractice' explains the important 'do's' and 'don'ts' for students when preparing to sit an exam.


Our '2022 Grading Pathways - Information for Students' video takes students through examples of grading and achieving the higher grade from two pathways.



Our ‘Preparing for Exams – Parent-to-Parent Tips’ short video, offers advice and tips from parents, to parents, on how to support their children when preparing to sit an exam.
