Athletics news

Tullamore, Co. Offaly was the venue last Saturday where the cream of Irish athletics talent descended for the Irish Schools' Track and Field Championships. Joel Chambers again represented Nendrum with distinction with a fine 6th place, fractionally eclipsing his p.b in the 1500m event.

This week a selection of our pupils participated in the North Down Schools' Track and Field Championships hosted at the Sportsplex in Bangor.  For a large selection of the pupils they were making their debut into the competitive arena of running, jumping and throwing. Congratulations to all those that represented the College and a further congratulations to those that departed with a medal.
