This year we were very fortunate to have the Cool Fm media bus come to our school. Year 11 got the chance to work with Cool Fm Dj's Sonia Mac and Steve Turnbull to make an advert on Road Safety for the DOE.
Later that week the GCSE Media Group got to spend the day at Cool Fm Studios working with DJ's Ryan A and Mairead Canpbell to create our own talk show and a radio advert. We also had a tour of the studios and got to meet Dj Pete Snodden.
The trip was educational as well as fun and gave each student an opportunity to experiance working life in the Media as well as producing a radio show.
