Prize Day 2023

Our annual Prize Day took place on Thursday 19th October 2023 and was extremely well attended. The Music Department provided some entertainment which was thoroughly enjoyed by the staff, governors, prize winners and our other special guests. Our programme featured a wide variety of music, and we are extremely proud of all our musicians who were involved. The audience enjoyed a beautiful rendition of ‘Castle on a Cloud’ from Les Misérables by Regina Davies, followed by the Nendrum College band who performed ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ by Oasis.  Our school choir also performed two fantastic numbers; ‘Mamma Mia’ featuring soloist Katie-Rose Andrews and then ‘Viva La Vida’ by Coldplay. The solo part of this upbeat, energetic number was performed by experienced singer and highly esteemed member of the Music Department - Kiera Robinson.  Music maestro Callum Burke accompanied on the piano and Emma Simpson provided the rhythmic drive to the piece on the drum kit. We are so proud of all our pupils for putting on such an amazing show for our prestigious Prize Giving ceremony.
