After the midweek success of Nathan McBride today the junior school members continued with the rich vein of form. First out was year 8 pupil Casey Miskelly who took no prisoners from the start as she decimated the field and in doing so recorded a new personal best time of 2.34 mins. Another year 8 pupil Joel Chambers displayed his burgeoning talent to all present as he blitzed the entire field to a facile victory. Year 9 pupil Carter McIlvenny surprised himself by being in the lead but was passed with 60m remaining, still second position is something to be very proud of. All these pupils qualify onto the Co. Down Finals and it would be anticipated more success will be forthcoming.
Bradley Mullan, Ewan McIlwraith and Aimee Quinn also represented the College and although they did not qualify they gave 100% effort and displayed great determination.
