Assessment


Each unit has a marking criteria which the pupils can reference in-order to achieve a full understanding of how the task is assessed.
Peer and self evaluation methods are also employed.

Areas covered at KS4:


This is a broad course exploring practical work through a range of 2D and 3D processes.This includes; drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, textiles and ceramics. Pupils learn about the ways in which artists, designers and craftspeople work. This increases their critical awareness giving them improved understanding and a greater artistic vocabulary. Many of our pupils go on to attend Art & Design A level and college courses.
